Job Description
ORBIT AI TECHNOLOGIES is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Software Development Interns who are passionate about building software applications and learning modern development technologies. As an intern, you will work alongside experienced developers on real-world projects, gaining practical exposure to the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and maintenance. Typical software development internships involve contributing to production or training projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining web and software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Debug and resolve software defects and technical issues.
- Participate in code reviews and implement feedback from senior developers.
- Work with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs.
- Test applications and ensure software quality.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, testers, and development teams.
- Maintain technical documentation for assigned tasks.
- Learn and follow Agile software development practices.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Knowledge of any programming language such as Java, Python, PHP, or C#.
- Understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub is an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Eligibility
- B.E./B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), or equivalent.
- Final-year students and recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of software development concepts is preferred.
